The Illusion of Time Linearity
Linear time does not exist outside of the concept of time that we have created to cope with the incomprehensible and ever present eternal essence of our soul. What we call "chronological time"—with clear divisions of past, present, and future—is merely a mental construct. The watch and its ticking seconds are physical representations of our idea of time—the interval. We created these measurements using the very concept of time we're trying to prove exists. This conditioning began long before our earliest memories formed which makes time feel like an objective reality when really, it is a collective shared agreement.
Quantum Timelessness and Trauma
This understanding of time as construct rather than reality aligns remarkably well with quantum physics, where time symmetry exists and, at the most fundamental level (as suggested by the Wheeler-DeWitt equation), time might not exist at all.
For trauma survivors, this non-existence of objective time becomes painfully apparent. Traumatic memories don't behave according to linear time—they don't stay "back then." Instead, they exist in a state resembling quantum superposition, simultaneously belonging to all temporal dimensions in the eternal now. This is why unresolved trauma feels so 'alive' even in the present moment.
When you experience a traumatic flashback, you're not remembering something from the past as much as experiencing it in the here and now in your brain and nervous system. Flash backs are not caused by a faulty memory system - they reveal time's true nature - the perpetual now.
Beyond Linear Healing: Quantum Integration
If trauma exists in a non-linear quantum-like state in the eternal present, healing cannot follow a strictly linear path either. This explains why it can sometimes feel like your healing work is taking you in circles, repeatedly having to face the same things again and again. It might feel the similar, but the truth is, it's never the same. Sometimes there is a regression, sometimes we have breakthroughs and then breakdowns. The idea that healing is a straight road when really it's a bit more like a cosmic roundabout, can create limitations and affect our self esteem. Understanding the self imposed and self fulfilling nature of time itself, can help to see the bigger picture and appreciate how deeply you are healing.
Indigenous Perspectives on Time
Many indigenous cultures have no concept of linear time. For example, the Hopi people of the American Southwest don't distinguish between past, present, and future, but between "manifest" (observable) and "manifesting" (emerging into existence). For them, reality is that it is a continuous process of manifestation.
The Pirahã people of the Amazon also don't separate the past and the future and their language lacks numeric tense. For them, it is either "now,"/ "not now," and 'existing' / 'non existing yet.'
The Māori of Aotearoa (New Zealand) conceptualize time with the past (mua, which also means "in front") positioned before them where it can be seen and known, while the future (muri, also meaning "behind") remains unseen at their back. This kind of spatial-temporal orientation reflects their worldview where they believe their ancestors walk ahead of them, and they are following in their footsteps.
This perspective transforms ancestral healing from an archaeological exercise excavating distant historical trauma into a direct relational process. The ancestors aren't gone; they stand before us, their experiences freshly relevant and their presence immediately available.
Ancestral Healing
For those engaged in ancestral healing work, the Māori temporal perspective offers a profound shift in understanding. This orientation reveals that you are not merely addressing historical wounds from some distant past—you are engaging with living energies that stand directly before you, visible in your present experience.
When ancestors walk ahead rather than fade behind, their unresolved trauma isn't a historical echo but a current that flows continuously through the generations to you. The pain, adaptive patterns, and protective mechanisms they developed don't belong to a concluded chapter of family history—they vibrate in your nervous system, shape your beliefs, and influence your relationships right now.
This perspective transforms ancestral healing from archaeological excavation into present-moment relationship. You aren't reaching backward across time to fix something broken long ago; you're acknowledging what stands directly before you, what has always been in your field of vision. The vibration of ancestral experience isn't separated from you by decades or centuries—it resonates within your cells, your reflexive responses, your unexplained fears and inexplicable strengths.
Most powerfully, this orientation reveals your unique position in the ancestral stream. As you walk the path behind those who came before, seeing clearly both their wisdom and their wounds, you gain the opportunity to consciously metabolize what they couldn't process. When you recognize and transform these patterns within yourself, you aren't merely healing your individual life—you're changing the energetic inheritance that would otherwise continue flowing to those who will follow behind you.
Your healing becomes an act of profound responsibility to both past and future generations. By facing what your ancestors couldn't face, by feeling what they couldn't allow themselves to feel, by speaking what remained unspoken across generations, you aren't just resolving historical trauma—you're transforming the very path that future generations will walk.
This is why ancestral healing work feels so immediate and vital when properly understood. You stand at a crucial turning point in your lineage's journey—able to see clearly what came before, consciously choosing what continues forward. In this way, ancestral healing becomes not merely personal therapy but a sacred act of intergenerational transformation happening in the eternal now.
What My Clients Say
"Safa helped me to clear all the trauma including from in utero. She also did big ancestral healing work on the masculine and feminine lines. Finally, I forgave.
In just 12 weeks I experienced a big shift in my consciousness. I can feel self love and I trust myself again. I am able to feel the power of my womb. I am able to clarify my energy field and my space, connect to my ancestors and feel love in my daily life. I have learnt the deeper art of embodiment. I have turned away from senseless things like alcohol, smoking and empty friendships. Through the healing work I have done with Safa, my family are now shining. I see the sun in their eyes! I am speechless by the depth of transformation in this short amount of time. A huge thank you Safa.
I am so curious about everything I learnt from you! Your heart is so big! Deeply impressed!"

"It offered deep emotional insight, it felt like the safest place to share and be, the pure body with its deep teachings and physical experience of the Spirit.
I have no words to describe it. I realised how ancestral patterns of separation and polarities arouse in me disconnection and aversion to life. I recognized that I do not need to be isolated to feel safe/me/that I am all-right. I recognized why the partner whom I have lost was such a huge container for me and how sacred his love was.
I accepted that I have to change my constant invading thoughts about how wrong I am. In Womb Room I accepted my past, entanglements with masculine energy since I can understand the past and forgive and see that this offers me a possibility to heal and access the Divine masculine in me. I healed a huge part of the burden I have carried. I think I healed a part of my masculine energy, I think I opened to a feminine energy more, but most of all I think I crossed the river Styx to finally find the stillness."
-Ana, Slovenia
"I came to see Safa with dissociation. For at least six years my nervous system has been dysregulated. After six weeks my physical symptoms are gone. I have also healed my dissociation and learnt how to trust my own body again. I am now feeling connected with my organs and I feel my heart and brain have reconnected. Spinal work realigned my spine and helped me to release deep anger from trauma that my body was holding in relation to childhood trauma. I reconnected with my own inner feminine and masculine energy and also met my inner child. Ancestral healing supported me to heal my paternal line and what was being held there that had affected me - religious abuse. I was able to see myself more deeply, both the victim and the rebel in me. I reconnected deeply with the vastness of my womb. This has helped me stand up for myself and stand in my power. "

"Wow, so much light and energy flowing through Safa's field the whole time!!!!
This healing programme was the biggest and most profound journey.
My biggest moment was meeting with Jesus! Tears streamed down my face with so much gratitude, a knowing that he is with me, feeling his love and holding his hand. I'm still feeling that connection- it makes me so emotional. I had ancestors come in to my field during the ancestral healing work I did. There was so much light and energy flowing through the whole field. I was being cleared and healed and filled with light for my journey. I deepened in my womb embodiment, I swam with the whales, felt their deep spirit in womb, the pulse of the oceans and earth's heart beat. I felt gratitude for my family and children. I saw their true essence and light -who they really are. I reconnected with my mother who had passed away, i held her hand in a coffin, kissed her with thanks for her journey. I am still buzzing, feeling so blessed and blissed out!
Safa, you are a master orchestrator of the cosmic symphony. This was a magical healing ride that I will never forget."
